Hannibal

Hannibal's owner said:
"This is Hannibal, a Boston with a great heart.
We communicate with sign language...Hannibal is deaf from birth.
He 'knows' when his owner is in the driveway, when the postman is on his
bicycle, and when someone is behind the door.

Being in touch means more than mere listening."

Blogger Ziz said ... (8:00 AM) :

congratulations on being a blog of note on blogger! :o) As you can see, expect a lot of comments! ;) And don't worry if some trolls leave some crappy comments, that happens as soon as someone gets featured. They are jealous. ;O)
Take care,
Ali

It's so nice to have found this blog! Our french bulldog, Simson, died last month - and the BT's you've displayed here remind me of all the fun we had with him. Thank you!

why do boston terriers never, ever, look happy?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

Sorry meant to post this here:

haven't read this whole blog, but, I am wondering are these dogs from a rescue? I doubt it because you have a puppy. Please let everyone else know they can adopt these and other "full bred" dogs from rescues. THere are many which will be euthanized everyday because people buy their dogs from breeders instead of adopting.

That is so amazing... animals never cease to amaze me... but I could be a little biased too...lol.

What a cool story. It's good that Hanibal's owner has forged a way around the dog's disability through the use of sign language.
This is a cool I idea for a blog. Now that you're being featured on blogs of note, you'll probably get bombarded with pictures to put up. :)

Oh, and I almost forgot.
To n.p.: look down at the post called "New Toy!". That boston terrier looks very happy.
