well, mine haven't spent too much time around kids since I don't have any. Mine are little excitable and sometimes jump on people when they come over to our house. They settle down after a few minutes, but I don't like them to jump on kids at all. They wouldn't ever hurt a kid though.
I haven't read this whole blog, but, I am wondering are these dogs from a rescue? I doubt it because you have a puppy. Please let everyone else know they can adopt these and other "full bred" dogs from rescues. THere are many which will be euthanized everyday because people buy their dogs from breeders instead of adopting.
