One more comment - I just noticed the suckling on the blanket - is this a BT thing?
Our Martha has a teddy bear called "Baby" that came with her from her previous home. She suckles that to calm herself and when she's ready to go to sleep.
Baby's literally falling apart from so much lovin'. I hadn't thought about a blanket as a subsitute.
Bandit does it with a stuffed basketball. He usually fetches it until he's worn out. Then he just holds it in his mouth until he falls asleep.
Willy is our spoiled boy and he loves to suck on that blanket! He'll suck on any blanket...thats why we got him his own last Xmas at Pets Mart! He uses it to calm himself too so maybe it is a BT thing. Thanks for the comment on the pups...they were very hard to give up! :)
I was wondering the same thing. My boston sucks on her blankets. She has since she was a puppy. She does it ALL the time and carries her blanket from room to room with her. It's hilarious.
